Briquetting process

Briquetting is a process of compacting, destroying the elasticity of the natural fibers. Thiscan be done by means of two methods only: high pressure and/or high temperature. The elasticity of the residue must be broken to obtain a briquette with reasonable resistance and durability for transport and storage.

The BIOMAX briquetting presses submitting the waste materials up to 1200 Kg/cm² of  ressure simultaneous control the temperature na ideal level to obtain distraction of consistence of the fibers from the residues, also to keep electrical energy consumption low as possible.

The influence of pressure and temperature for the compacting process depends upon the type of residue, umidity and dimensions of the particles. In both cases the BIOMAX briquetting machines show a vast flexibility in regulation.
