The furnishment of the residues for briquetting should be continuous and even as possible, to avoid overloading of the equipment.

The most common feeding system is a silo with an conveying screw. This screw has on variable geardrive coupled on and one can set the desired velocity. The silo can be installed below or above ground-level (see the following figures).

They are other feeding systems, which can be used like: ciclones, vibration and convoyer belts etc.
